You’ll remember that U3 lets you personalize your computing experience naturally, with a little help from your technology friends. When you connect this drive into any PC, it can bring up your own personal interface. You can have the Web browser launch your personal settings. You can save your settings for email programs and other applications, and have them pop right up, ready for you to use. Most importantly, when you’re ready to walk away, you can eliminate all trace of your settings.
It probably goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: This is a Windows-only device. It runs only on Windows 2000 or XP. Still, that’s the majority of PCs these days, so that’s a large part of the mobile play- and work-force.
You can get that 4GB TransMemory U3 drive in November. For the 16GB model, you’ll have to wait until the end of the year.
