FlowerPod: a petal-powered speaker

Put the petal to the plastic with the Flower Pod, a speaker of a different flavor.

At first glance, this is just a plastic flower of a fun color and with a curling stem. Look a little closer, though, and you’ll find the speaker, which looks suspiciously like an iPod earbud.

This speaker hooks up to your MP3 player (doesn’t have to be an iPod, despite the name) or CD player, presumably when it’s docked, and comes in one of three color combinations: pink-yellow, red-orange, and purple-pink.

Don’t expect surround sound or thundering bass. You will, however, get a lot of comments and looks of amazement.
