If navigation isn’t your strong suit, then Palm and TomTom have something for you. It’s the Palm GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition, featuring TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 software. Hook it all up inside your vehicle, and you can get voice-guided, turn-by-turn instructions for how to get to even the most mundane of Points B.

Millions of points of interest are included, including airports, restaurants, filling stations, parks, and sights to see. Just plug in your destination, wait a few milliseconds for the GPS to determine your current location, and off you go. The USB SD reader can access info from any SD card, including the 1GB one that comes with the package containing maps of the U.S. and Canada.

As of now, you have to use the software and the smartphone in perfect harmony. That might change, of course.
