While you could just find a white wall in your office building to project most of your PowerPoint or Flash presentations, it’s a little more professional to use an actual projector screen. But that ugly off-white screen can start to look a little bland after a while, so why not get one that is nearly invisible when not in use?

Dal Nippon Japan has created a 46-inch Transparent Projector Screen, and what’s more, it has embedded speaker technology to allow it to produce sound all on its own. Dubbed “SoundVu” (developed by Nxt Plc), there is “an extremely thin layer that covers the entire screen, vibrating to create sound.” That’s pretty darn innovative, especially considering that the sound has no virtually no directivity.

Of course, all this techie stuff comes at a price. The Transparent Project Screen will put you back $4,000, in addition to the cost of an actual projector… because, this is just a screen.
