Fujitsu LifeBook T4210 tablet packs Core Duo
Intel Core Duo used to sound so sexy, but with Core 2 Duo all prepped and ready for the market, it just doesn’t have the same kind of zing to it anymore. Still better than the budget-minded Celeron series, I suppose. If you’re itching to get a Core Duo fix in a tablet PC form factor, you’ll soon have another option from Fujitsu Korea as they have unveiled the LifeBook T4210.
Tipping the scales at a fairly reasonable 1.98 kg (when the “weight saver” is applied, whatever that means), the Fujitsu Lifebook T4210 features a 12.1-inch touchscreen display with a “wide viewing angle”. It seems that if you need a more standard notebook orientation, however, you can flip that display over thanks to the two-way swivelling hinge.
Other notable features include a one-touch log-in, DVD combo-drive, and built-in dual wireless antenna. Measurements are 295 x 244 x 37mm. It’s possible that this could come to North America, but we don’t have confirmation one way or the other, nor has any pricing information presented itself.
