
You can encase your iPod in the locking device and assign a four-number combination to the lock. The cable is steel and scratch-resistant, making it an attractive security option. While the lock is attached, you can still attach headphones and recharge the iPod.
We would expect, however, that the thief who goes to the length of trying to shatter the lock with a hammer might think twice unless he or she is incredibly accurate with that hammer, while also being willing to risk shattering the iPod as well.
