Apple iChair for chic MacBook users

We may see a super long line of iPod accessories, but this is the first time I’ve seen something quite like this for the company’s laptops. The Sit Different Chair from Syntes Design of Stockholm clearly screams the Apple philosophy of minimalist elegance. It’s not exactly an official iChair, but this is about as close as it gets.

The form may remind you of your school-age days, but you’ll certainly feel much more comfortable in the Sit Different Chair than in that old laminate and metal thing you sat in as a young student. “As cleanly designed as a MacBook”, the seat is wrapped in all-white leather. The whole chair is white in fact, including the swivel tray to hold your glossy white notebook.

Post-modern minimalism never looked so great. This will clearly go quite well with the rest of your “greater than thou” furniture in your swanky upscale condo. No word on pricing or availability just yet, as Systes is still “in negotiations” to get this chair made.
