Pictures just can’t do the Acer Aspire 9800 notebook justice, because you can’t appreciate the sheer dimensions of this thing. Prominently featuring a 20.1-inch CrystalBrite WXGA+ display, this is a great unit for movie watching or video gaming on the go, just don’t expect it to be feather-light.
They’ve thrown in some beefy features to back up the huge display, including an Intel Core Duo T2600 (2.16GHz) processor, a full gig of DDR2 RAM, 256MB GeForce Go 7300 graphics, and up to 240GB of storage from a pair of high performance hard drives. The Aspire 9800 feels right at home with hi-def, hence the included HD-DVD drive (a slot-loading DVD Super Multi drive is also available).
Rounding out the features are a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 2.0, all three flavours of WiFi, hybrid TV tuner, a 4-watt subwoofer, and 3-watt speakers.
The Acer Aspire 9800 isn’t exactly cheap with prices starting at $2,800, but it is available now for your wallet crushing pleasure.
