There are a number of new devices on the market now that make use of the SDHC standard. Too bad there aren’t too many readers out there than can handle these media cards that look just like standard Secure Digital, but are designed to be a different breed altogether. Leave it to I-O DATA to come to the rescue with their new multi-card reader that they claim is SDHC compatible.

In addition to the newest fad in postage stamp sized portable storage, this new 16-in-1 card reader takes on a good number (well, 15, as you can probably guess) of other memory cards as well, including the miniSD, microSD, Memory Stick, and Compact Flash.

As expected, this device connects to your computer via USB 2.0, though it is also backwards compatible with USB 1.1. No word on pricing, but I’d expect this to be pretty cheap.
