Seems like it’s Motorola Day, doesn’t it? We heard earlier today about the MOTORAZR MAXX with EDGE, HSDPA, and UMTS, as well as the official announcement of the KRZR K1 and K1m. The news is still pouring in from the big M, and this time we turn to the sliding form factor to find the RIZR (”riser”), in addition to a couple of new Bluetooth headsets to accompany their suite of new cell phones.

The MOTORIZR isn’t the first slim sliding phone from Motorola (the Z Slider takes that title), but this is the first time that they’re offering the attractive form factor to GSM users. The look, of course, bears a striking resemblance to the RAZR. Key features include “intuitive functionality”, a 2.0 megapixel camera, landscape display, built-in music player, and video capabilities.

In the Bluetooth headset department, Motorola is releasing the H601 to accompany the MOTOKRZR and its “sleek and functional [look], offering optimal comfort”, whereas the H800 throws in a “unique sliding mechanism replicating the MOTORIZR.”
