There are plenty of options out there if you’re in the market for a PDA phone powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone edition (what a mouthful), so why would you look at this particular offering over another? Well, looking up and down the spec sheet, the Gigabyte gSmart i128 can do just about anything that another PDA phone can do, but they’ve thrown in one extra little tidbit for us: it comes preloaded with Altavista Babel Fish.

What this means is that if you happen to find yourself on a Japanese website with the latest Naruto or Bleach rumors, you won’t need to sweat it. Simply plunk ‘er in, and receive some Babelnese to decipher. Better than trying to figure out the Japanese, right?

Among the key features on this high-end tri-band GSM phone include a 2.4-inch TFT LCD, 2.1 megapixel camera with macro mode, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, Mobile Direct Push technology, and 192 polyphonic ringtones. Staying connected is easy thanks to support for WLAN, Bluetooth, GPRS, IrDA and miniUSB.

No word on pricing or availability.
