Marcos, a maker of specialty sports cars, has unveiled two new TSO models – the GTC for performance junkies and the R/T grand tourer. The new models are powered by the 5.7 liter Corvette V8 which kicks off 475 horsepower. It carries the car from 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 185 miles per hour with the optional Performance Pack. As you would hope, the transmission is a six speed manual.

The theory must be that something this fast doesn’t need to be safe, because the cars don’t come with ABS or airbags. What they lack in safety they make up for with exclusivity, though. The TSO’s are made to order, and Marcos will only make about 50 each year. Prices start at $92,000 for the GTC and just a little more for the R/T. The vehicles were unveiled at the Salon Prive luxury and supercar event in London yesterday and they were also in action at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last week.
