Now that EV-DO has officially made its presence felt in Canada, thanks to Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility, the services are rolling out fast and furious, especially from the company known for its inquisitive animal representatives. Telus Mobility has just picked up XM radio as part of their “Spark” family of services, giving subscribers live music and other content on the go.

They aren’t offering all XM content, however. The new service is restricted to a mere twenty channels: Bluesville, BPM, Chrome, Ethel, Flight 26, Fred, High Voltage, RAW, Real Jazz, Soul Street, Suite 62, The City, The Joint, The Rhyme, The Verge, Top 20 on 20, Top Tracks, U.S. Country, XM Comedy and XM Pops.

A decent mix can be found among those channels, so there should be something for everyone there. Best of all, if you’re already rocking the SPARK-worthy LG 8100 or Samsung A950, and you’re on a Spark 25 feature bundle, you won’t have to pay anything extra to enjoy XM. If not, you’ll need to fork out an extra $15 a month.
