Gaming-centric Rock Quaddra TX2 laptop is one tough cookie

This beefy notebook will not appeal to the camp of users who prefer to have their computing solution as portable and light as possible. Instead, for gamers on the go, you’ll want something that is just as, if not more powerful than your buddy’s desktop computer, and the Quaddra TX2 from Rock fits the bill to a tee.

No more squinting on a sub 15-incher, because the TX2 is rocking a good-sized 17-inch WSXGA+ (yes, widescreen) display. Sure, it may not be as large and in charge as those 20-inch and up LCD monitors on the market, but it’ll do you just fine as your frag to your heart’s content at the local coffee shop. Powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, the Rock Quaddra TX2 also packs in NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, Bluetooth support, and all three flavours of Wi-Fi.

Get your game on, but don’t be content with the entry-level $1,642 version. Beef it up and blast your way into online gaming infamy.

    I just got through a half dozen documentaries and videos that I’ve been meaning to get to for months now. How I did it? The Just Mobile UpStand and a bit of help from CineXplayer. Now that my iPad conveniently sits next to my monitor in seemingly perfect viewable angle, I can let those videos play as I work during the day.
