Panasonic is getting into the art business, at least digitally.

The electronics giant has unveiled a full-on Web offering called the HD Image Gallery. The service lets you buy and download digital images that you might have seen in Life, National Geographic, and other magazines, or at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among other sources. A total of 35 world-class partners are onboard, including the Andy Warholl Collection.

The gallery contains images from the Impressionist period all the way through the 20th Century, and you can get one for as little as 99 cents. The images have been optimized for high-resolution display, so save plenty of memory next to your MP3s for all those wonderful paintings you’ll be downloading.
