Wow, it really seems like General Motors has gotten its act together these past couple of years. The Pontiac Solstice and its sister vehicle, the Saturn Sky Roadster, are already sold out for the rest of the year. It seems that people itching for an open air GM have turned to the Pontiac G6 convertible, because now even that car is sold out for the rest of the year.

The G6 convertible – which competes against the Toyota Solara and the Volkswagen Eos, among others – is said to be the one of the least expensive hard top convertibles on the market, priced at under $30,000.

Even though it has only been officially on sale since April, the open-air version of the G6 won’t be available to new customers until at least the 2007 model year (which should within the next few months anyways, I would think). Maybe you should add your name to the waiting list for the new 07s now…. or wait for the new Camaro.
