From what I can gather, there isn’t much that separates the ezVision Video iWear apart from other Geordi La Forge-esque video visors. What is good about these devices now, though, is that the price has come down quite a bit from when they first hit the market and, maybe more importantly, they don’t look completely goofy anymore. Of course, you’re still going to get some strange glances, but that’s the price you pay.
While ezGear seems to market itself as an iPod accessory provider, this head mounted display also works with other devices via RCA cables and the rechargeable battery will run for a solid eight hours. The ezVision Video iWear is available now for $400 direct from ezGear, with a retail launch scheduled for later this month.
