EMF blocking cell phone case

The perfect accessory to go with that tinfoil hat you fashioned so many years ago, is a cell phone case designed to – you guessed it – block out those harmful EMF death rays from your body, while safely storing your obligatory communications device in a comfortable leather-like package.

While it would have been nice to have the shielding material built all around the case, it appears that they have only inserted the blockers on the backside of the pouch, creating a barrier between your hip (or wherever) and your phone. This means that you’re still vulnerable to RFID-based thieves, not to mention the reportedly cancer causing effects of having the actual phone up next to your head. Would wearing a Bluetooth headset curb that threat? Probably not.

In any case, this radiation blocking mobile phone pouch – available in stylish black or grey – should be available now for about $25.
