Vodafone makes Sharp 705SH its own
Vodafone users in Japan will soon have another option when it comes to picking up a handset with lots of features, a slim profile, and 3G connectivity. The model number may immediately bring Sharp to mind, and as such, you’d be right to ascertain that the new 705SH from Vodafone is in fact made by the Japanese manufacturer.
In addition to a 2.2-inch Mobile ASV LCD display, you’ll get a pair of cameras: a primary 2.0 megapixel shooter with face recognition technology, and secondary 0.1 megapixel camera, presumably for video telephony needs.
The squared-off clamshell also includes an integrated multimedia player, a microSD expansion slot for additional memory (which you’ll definitely need), and a bunch of other nifty stuff like Macromedia Flash, QR Code Reading, and Deru Moji 3D Pictogram Display.
As a 3G handset, you’ll find support for a wide range of services and content, ranging from music and magazines to games and chat. Pricing and availability information are not available at this time, but we do know that you’ll be given the choice of black, gold, or pink.
