Nokia has unveiled their new E50 phone, a candybar model aimed at people who need a good phone for business purposes, but don’t have a major budget to blow. It is a quad-band phone, and Nokia bills it as the thinnest of their E series phones. It runs on S60 3rd edition and supports corporate e-mail solutions from mortal enemies BlackBerry Connect or Visto Mobile.

The phone has an optional 1.3 megapixel camera (Nokia will ship both with and without the camera) and an MP3 player. Memory for your music comes from either the 70MB of onboard memory, or the microSD slot. The phone is also ready for the corporate PBX, so you can route landline phones through your mobile when you are in the office for convenience and lower costs. It also supports two numbers, so you can use the E50 for both work and play. No word yet on cost or availability.
