The LG Chocolate phone has been around for a little while now (not in North America, of course, as is the case with any new hot electronic commodity), so it seems that the prominent Korean cell phone maker is ready to pull the wrapper off a successor to the popular handset. The “Black Label II” was unveiled at the recent Expo Comm Wireless Korea 2006, and by the looks of things, it will be yet another thing to tempt your sweet tooth.

They’ve stuck with the sliding form factor for the KV6000 (its model number), but added just a touch more thickness (1.2mm more, to be exact) to this newer rendition. You’ll still get the ability to snap your spur of the moment pictures thanks to an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera, and bob your head to the latest music. The 512MB of internal memory is enough for 120 MP3s.

The “Black Label II” fashionphone is expected to retail in the $530 range when it hits Korean retailers.
