F-Secure updates mobile anti-virus

Smartphones running Symbian OS have a new anti-virus product, courtesy of F-Secure.

It’s the F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus 3.0 with support for the S60 3rd Edition, and it features a next-generation scanning engine and faster and automatic application updates, all compatible in 27 languages.

Those of you owning a Nokia mobile device in the E or N series will be able to get this latest anti-virus application right away. If you buy one of these phones, you’ll get F-Secure Mobile Anti Virus 3.0 preinstalled. The service is a reasonable US$34.95 a year, and you can download a free 30-day trial version at the F-Secure website.
