Shockingly, the state of Nevada has given their support to a new form of gambling. Cantor Gaming was a company at the leading edge of the effort which led to the legal acceptance of wireless gaming using a handheld mobile device in Nevada. Now the company has been recommended by the Gaming Control Board to become the first manufacturer and distributor of the device. The final licensing step will come on May 18, but it should be smooth sailing for Cantor.

The wireless devices, which you will still need to be in a casino to play, are targeted to attract those in their 20’s and 30’s who have grown up with video games and gadgets. It will allow casino operators to take more advantage of areas like lounges and shops that are currently not being used for gaming. Now people will be able to sit at the bar with a drink and play some craps.
