Crossover meets safety in the new Ford Edge, set to start selling across the U.S. later this year.

The CUV will come standard with a host of popular safety features, including seat-mounted side air bags and air curtains and four-wheel drive with Ford’s unique Roll Stability Control system. A suite of driver-specific features includes a driver seat position sensor, an energy-absorbing steering wheel, and a knee bolster.

The engine will be a 265hp 3.5-liter V-6. Transmission will feature six speeds.
