Linksys has introduced three products based on the new wireless IEEE 802.11n standard. Among the offerings are a wireless router, notebook card, and a gateway.

The new standard will deliver 100Mbit a second of valid throughput, according to industry experts. That figure is higher than Ethernet connections today, and the prices for the devices will be correspondingly high as well. It’s all in the name of wireless home video.

The WRT300N Wireless-N Broadband Router is selling for US$149.99. The WPC300N Wireless-N Notebook Adapter will retail for US$119.99. Lastly, the Digital Subscriber Line gateway will be part of what is envisioned as a suite of home and home-business offerings to take advantage of the 802.11n capabilities.
