What happens when two Italian companies – car maker Fiat and superbike maker Ducati – get together? The Fiat Panda Monster. It’s the four-door Fiat Panda SUV, but under the hood is the 70 bhp 1.3 16v Multijet engine from the famous Ducati Monster 695 motorbike. It’s the first time that the Multijet turbodiesel is available in a 4×4 vehicle. It can handle 0-100 km/h in 18 seconds and tops out at 150 km/h while burning just 5.3 liters of fuel per 100 km. As a further homage to the Ducati, only 695 of the vehicles will be made.

As interesting as this combined vehicle is, the most intriguing part is how it is being sold. If you are interested in the vehicle you first have to visit a website to learn more. You can then apply to be invited to come see the car, but only selected customers will be approved. Only once you are invited to see it will you be told the price.
