Sony updates Walkman portable DVD player

This Sony DVD player isn’t exactly a Walkman as many people would know it, but it is an exciting new release nonetheless.

It’s the D-VE7000S, with a 7-inch display that promises vibrant color and high resolution. It comes with two headphone jacks and a dock, in which it can rest and take advantage of the integrated speakers that not only play music but also charge the player’s battery.

Do we have mobile TV or PC connectivity here? Not yet, although this DVD player might be a forerunner of such a device. What we do have is exceptional clarity and portability. If you’re still looking to get into the portable DVD player market, this is a good place to start.
