TV Guide Mobile comes to Cingular

Cingular, seemingly planning a massive mobile TV offering, has cemented a deal with TV Guide for a mobile phone listing of TV shows. It’s cleverly called TV Guide Mobile, and it will provide streaming listings to offerings on Cingular Video.

Cingular already offers the TV Guide Channel on its 3G-enabled handsets running Cingular Video. This new service would be on-demand and an enhanced version of what is already available.

So the next time you’re waiting in the doctor’s office, you can have a clue what’s on your video handset.
