Specs revealed for ASUS Lambo laptop

Setting yourself apart these days in the world of mobile technology is tough, because anytime you buy something that you think is cutting edge, everyone and their grandmother is releasing something that’s faster, more powerful, and more economical. That is, of course, unless you get yourself some unique branding that no one else will be able to grab (at least for the time being).

The ASUS VX1 with its Lamborghini exterior looks like something special with its yellow-clad appearance, and when you pop the hood to see its guts, you discover that it’s actually quite the beefy notebook and has the power to back up the Lamborghini name. For starters, you get a 2GHz Intel Core Duo T2500 processor and a full gig of 667MHz DDR2 RAM. There’s plenty of storage space, thanks to the 120GB hard drive, and you can burn with the best of them with the dual-layer DVD writer.

Graphics should be great on the 15-inch display, especially considering that there’s a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 256MB graphics card to be found as well. The price is a little steep for this limited edition VX1 starts around $4,700.
