On the outside, the Twig Discovery doesn’t look like anything special. It appears to be any bargain basement candybar you can find on the market these days, but that could be exactly why it was designed to look the way it is. After all, it appears to be targeted at older folks who want a no nonsense handset that can make calls… and get people to find them when they get lost. You see, this phone dreamed up by Matt Sinclar is a “real” GPS phone with an emergency “Find Me” button built right in.

With a single press of this special little button, your GPS coordinates are sent over to any phone number – a loved one, your bingo buddies, whoever – so that they can take the necessary steps to discover where you are, hence the name of the phone. Outside of that, it doesn’t appear to have any outstanding features, but the GPS is definitely a nice touch, complete with 2D or 3D maps and voiced turn-by-turn navigation. No word on pricing or availability.
