There are far too many cases out there for you to choose from when it comes to protecting your glossy music (or video) player from Apple, but for the most part, they’re only useful for preventing damage from everyday bumps, scratches, and drops. The DRYPOD case from SKB is a little different, because it’s completely waterproof, letting you hit the pool, ride the waves, and jam away in the rain without skipping a beat.

Independent evaluators ran it through a series of tests, not only with a drizzling rain and the occasional splash from the sink, but even full immersion. What this means is that if you’re going to go swimming, surfing, or maybe even scuba diving, the DRYPOD has you covered.

Packaged in are a neoprene armband, a stainless steel belt clip, and a “comfort-adjust” lanyard. The DRYPOD case will be available for 4G, 5G video, and nano “soon” from the online store at a yet to be disclosed price.
