We heard rumblings of a re-design for the Audi TT some time back, and now it’s official. The flagship sports car now features the company’s trademark trapezoidal grille in the front, and although the overall shape still has a TT-ness to it, I can’t help but see a poor man’s Porsche from the side.

To give this vehicle its 200hp, the engineers fitted the TT with a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder TFSI engine and a six-speed transmission. If that isn’t enough to get your juices running, you can also turn to the naturally-aspirated 3.2L V6 version, which is capable of 250hp.

Outside of cosmetics and power upgrades, the new TT also features multi-link rear suspension, a magnetic ride damper system, a sport steering wheel, and aluminum trim package. 69% of the body is made of aluminum, providing for an incredibly lightweight ride.

No word on pricing or an exact launch date.
