Talk about taking your TV with you.

Motorola is showing off Follow Me TV, a process that lets you pull TV shows or music videos, movies or whatever you have stored on your digital video recorder, and plop them on a mobile device for viewing. It’s home networking as you’ve never seen it before.

The service also allows transfer of digital content to other networked DVRs. And, you can use your RAZR or other Motorola mobile device to program your DVR. (The RAZR offers Bluetooth headsets, too, so that guy you think is talking to himself might actually be talking to his TV!)

All of the components in this process have to be Motorola, of course. The company plans live demonstrations of Follow Me TV at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas, going on now, and the National Show in Atlanta next week.
