The new Audi A6 allroad, as its name implies, can tackle all your dirt and gravel roads, and even where there is no path at all. Designed to handle all sorts of terrain, this vehicle comes equipped with height-adjustable air suspension with five different settings, and you’ll be sure to get excellent traction thanks to a new electronic stability programme. It’s four-wheel-drive, of course, and has a maximum ground clearance of 185mm.

The base model, priced at £33,530, is powered by a 177hp 2.7-litre V6 turbodiesel and will be available come July in the UK. They say that there’s no replacement for displacement, and that just might be true, because the 3.0-litre V6 diesel ups the ante to 230hp, but also increases the price to £36,380.

For gasoline versions, you’ll have to wait until early next year when Audi releases 3.2L V6 and 4.2L V8 incarnations of this rugged beast. This ain’t no regular wagon.
