The triband GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) candybar comes equipped with Bluetooth 2.0, an FM radio tuner, and a 2 megapixel camera complete with 4x digi-zoom. Of course, the big selling point of this phone – as well as every other Walkman handset that has been and will be released – is it music playback. It will come with a 256MB MS Pro Duo card instead of the 512MB that came packaged with the W800i.
The W700i is destined for most markets, but the slightly altered W700c is heading to mainland China. Expect both to become available some time in the second quarter of this year at a yet to be disclosed price.
