The agreement calls for construction of WAP and SMS networks, for better real-time traffic info that can be delivered to voice, mobile, and email devices. Drivers can, using push and pull messaging, receive reports of traffic densities, construction, accidents, etc. In addition, you can submit your normal commute route to the WAP server and receive a customized traffic report for your route.
Traffic.com currently services 35 of the largest metropolitan areas in the U.S.
