Slick musicphone from Alcatel

Alcatel might not be as big a name in the mobile phone business as, say, Samsung of Motorola, but the OT-C850 is quite the slick looking handset, complete with mobile music playing functionality. You can jam away to 256MB worth of music thanks to the on-board memory, but if you need more, there is always the microSD expansion slot.

Like most other phones these days, the OT-C850 comes with a camera, and it’s pretty standard at 1.3 megapixels of picture-taking capability. Looking at the provided photo, you would think that they limited the display to a monochrome red to match the rest of the handset’s theme – that would be a complete and utter shame – but, of course, it’s color (65k). We couldn’t have it any other way.

It’s smooth, it’s simple, and it’s got EDGE. Now, if I could only find a place to store this on my Darth Vader suit.
