The world of iPod accessories is a little crowded, with everyone and their mother releasing some neoprene case, wireless headphone, or portable speaker set for the glossy white player, but a relatively untapped market is creating extra peripherals for Sony’s PlayStation Portable. Bluetake is jumping all over this opportunity by releasing a version of its i-PHONO mini Bluetooth adapter designed for the PSP.

You won’t get stuck with mono, because this handy gadget (P/N: BT450Px) makes use of A2DP for some excellent wireless stereo entertainment. The manufacturer’s site is telling you that it can easily pair up to Bluetake Bluetooth stereo headphones, but I’m reasonably confident that the i-PHONO mini Bluetooth stereo pod transmitter can mate up with any set of BT ear pieces.

On the design front, you’ll be pleased to hear that they’ve made the device sit flush up against the bottom of the PlayStation Portable, so there are no unsightly bulges to be seen. No word on pricing, but it is “coming soon.”
