Desktop replacement laptops are all the rage these days, with their more portable counterparts being cast aside. You can now get almost the same level of eye candy on a notebook that you can on a home PC. Fujitsu-Siemens is continuing this trend with the release of the AMILO Xi 1546 multimedia laptop, featuring ATI’s super high end Mobility Radeon X1800 mobile graphics solution.

This really is a “gamer’s delight”, with a 17-inch LCD display capable of high definition graphics. The 3D performance of this beast is said to be absolutely astounding, so all you first-person shooter fans will have a lot to be happy about as you roam around fragging your enemies at will.

There aren’t announcing very much else about the AMILO Xi 1546 notebook other than its ATI graphical prowess, so in the meantime, you’ll just have to drool over the “unprecedented performance and speed along with advanced support of High-Definition video using new Avivo technology.”
