Nokia is pushing the envelope again.

The Finnish mobile media giant has teamed with Germany’s T-Com to provide a dual-purpose telephone, capable of providing fixed line and mobile data services.

The Nokia E60 and N80 models work on GSM, WCDMA, and WLAN networks. They will enable users to communicate at home or using a T-Com HotSpot.

“The Internet and mobile communications are coming together faster than anyone expected,” said Ilkka Raiskinen, senior vice president of Multimedia Experiences at Nokia.

Indeed. By using one of these two phones, you can take or receive calls no matter where you are, without having to switch anything at all.
