Four more phones from Pantech

It wouldn’t be fair to these hot handsets to talk about them all in this single article, because Pantech Group is showing off 40 phones at CeBIT, but maybe we can squeeze in at least four models. Multimedia and slim designs are definitely the two main selling points of a number of phones these days, and these four handsets by Pantech definitely capture that philosophy.

The flagship G-3600V GSM handset will hit the global market sometime this year. The design is immediately reminiscent of Apple, given the click-wheel like look on the front of the phone (they call it a “Touch Wheel Sensor”). This semi-automatic slider plays a wide variety of music formats, including AAC and AMR, as well as integrating a 1.3 megapixel camera. You can even edit your snapshots and videos right there on the handset.

The G-6200 flip phone has been designed that when open, it forms a “smooth curve that would be running along the line a human face.” Biometrics find their way onto this handset, with fingerprint recognition capabilities. You’ll also find a 2 megapixel shooter, Bluetooth, and MP3 playback.

The Wild Cube – finally a unique name – is designed with enhanced multimedia in mind. This convergence phone features a 2-megapixel camera and a swivelling display within its clamshell design.

Finally, the Transformer 01 we’ve seen before. Clearly dreamed up with the intention of mobile TV use, this multimedia phone comes complete with “the folder standing and supporting the main LCD”.
