US Modular, the folks who excited us recently with the Stik & Stor, have unveiled another product that will make our life easier. The PowerAid is a universal portable battery that can save us when the juice runs out of our laptop, cellphone, PDA or other DC powered devices. It’s lithium ion powered, making it light but full of energy content. It comes with 10 connectors for laptops, so you should be able to find one that works for you. It also comes with an adapter for cell phones and the other devices as well as an AC adapter and a USB cable.

The PowerAid outputs 118 watt-hours of power and you can choose between 16V and 19V voltage output. You can charge it fully in 5 to 6 hours. It’s only 8 ounces and fairly compact, so it is easy for you to carry wherever you will need it. You can get your own for $99.
