It seems like just about everyone these days is rocking a music (or video) player from Apple, and the iPods are not just being used as Walkman replacements. With the proliferation of iTrip-like devices, iPod speaker docks, and the like, it’s clear that there is a huge demand in the market for the possibility of jamming away to your iPod tunes whether you’re in your car, at home, or on the go.

Scosche Industries has come up with an interesting wireless solution that does not rely on FM transmission, which can result in static and poor sound quality. The Scosche BlueLife System makes use of Bluetooth technology, transmitting your music up to 30 feet away. Just dock your iPod into the transmitter, install the receiver into your car deck or home stereo, and you’re all set. No mess, no wires.

Scosche has set the MSRP at $250, but a quick check with online retailers has found a going price of around $200 for the starter set – one transmitter and one receiver – with extra receivers being sold separately.
