Midway unveils 2006 PSP game lineup

Midway, the video game company who has made pimple-faced kids happy for years, has unveiled their lineup of 2006 PSP games. The three games will be based on some of the company’s successful game franchises. NBA Ballers: Rebound will be the spring offering and Mortal Kombat: Unchained will ship in the fall. A new racing game based on RUSH will be ready for the holidays. This is the first foray into the PSP market for Midway.

Rebound will not only let you develop your game on the playground and take it all the way to the NBA, but it will let you live the life as well. You can choose your own clothing and jewelry combinations and enjoy hot rides and fancy mansions. You can play 1-on-1 or 1-on-1-on-1 via Wi-Fi.

Unchained promises unparalleled depth and brutally intense action, so Mortal Kombat fans will be happy. New moves have been added and the game has been tailored for the Wi-Fi environment.

RUSH will bring stunts and jumps to Wi-Fi so you can race your friends. You can race head to head, or use Story Mode to race through L.A. New to the PSP is a Stunt Arena where your tricks can earn you gold tokens to unlock new levels.
