The good people at ThinkSecret have dug up another rumor for us to muse over. With Steve Jobs on the cusp of announcing “fun new products” tomorrow, it seems like Apple might be releasing a new stereo speaker set for their music player that can ofer “HiFi” capabilities. In fact, it is said that this new boombox will “deliver unique capabilities beyond what today’s third-party docking speaker systems offer.”

Sure, you can already pick up iPod car chargers, earbuds, and the like, but this would be Apple’s first foray into “major” accessories for its glossy audio player, allowing the company to further cash into the huge market it created.

The picture you see to the right, of course, is not a “real” snapshot of this rumoured product. It’s for “illustrative purposes only”. As such, there really aren’t any big details surrounding this product available at this time, but we won’t have to wait long to find out, because the big Apple media event is set to start bright and early tomorrow morning at 9:00am.
