PNY reveals SD-USB transformer card and large capacity 4GB SD

PNY Technologies has come out with a group of new higher capacity flash media devices. Among those devices are an SD card with built-in USB connectivity, a 4GB SD flash media card, and a picture card for digital cameras.

The innovative USB-capable SD card eliminates the need for a card reader. Just plug into the SD slot of a camera, PDA, or camera phone and then plug again, this time directly into the USB slot of a computer, allowing quick-and-easy data transfer. The card comes in 256MB and 512MB varieties.

The SD flash card is an industry-leading 4GB of capacity, allowing storage of hundreds and hundreds of digital photos.

The picture card is an H-Type xD card that can write at very fast speeds, up to 2 to 3 times faster than other models, and supports the Panorama and 3D functions on certain Olympus cameras.

All of these devices will be available in the next few months.
