Content-loaded memory cards ROK your world

Not to be confused with the Motorola ROKR, the ROK Player is a pre-loaded memory card that easily provides awesome video content onto PDAs and smartphones. The company is said to be offering everything from full length movies like The Shawshank Redemption to children’s cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants. Thanks to ROK, you’ll be able to take the best of Britain’s entertainment with you on the go, catching an episode of Red Dwarf or The Office. There are even music videos available.

These have already been made available to those of you using Nokia’s Symbian-based handsets, but now the multimedia provider is offering the same great content to those using PDA handsets powered by Microsoft – most likely Windows Mobile 5.0. With these two platforms covered, ROK is now compatible with 70% of the smartphone market.

Watching full-length programmes on mobile phones couldn’t be easier, because ROK is a simple Plug-and-Play technology.
Additional content can be purchased online at rokplayer.com, as well as at a number of shops in the UK.
