The news out of Barcelona and the GSM World Congress just keeps pouring in. If you’re in the market for a 3G mobile phone that won’t weigh down your pocket, the K610 from Sony Ericsson is right up your alley. The tri-band UMTS candybar comes in at a mere 92 grams, and is 17mm thick. Despite its small package, they still managed to shove a 2.0 megapixel camera in there, as well as a second VGA camera for video telephony. The 1.9-inch 262k color TFT screen isn’t exactly huge, but it’s plenty ample for a phone this size.

Media capabilities are here as well, as the K610 supports MP3, AAC and E-AAC+ formats. Store all your songs, pictures, videos and whatnot on a Memory Stick Micro (M2) and shove it into the expansion slot. Connectivity comes in the way of Bluetooth, infrared, and USB 2.0. If you choose to go handsfree, you can even make use of the integrated speakerphone.

Available sometime in the Q2 2006, the K610 will be available in either Evening Red or Urban Silver.
