HP brings to market the HP iPAQ hw6900 Mobile Messenger, a new handheld device that ‘pushes’ mobile connectivity further.

The hw6900 is jam-packed with features. It functions as a cell phone, offers access to Wi-Fi hotspots and digital content and services and provides users with better security for their data.

The most touted feature is of course the hw6900′s capability to automatically receive new email messages, calendar items, tasks or contacts without the need for any email middleware costs.

Equipped with the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, users are offered better Outlook Mobile experience. This also enables IT administrators to remotely manage and implement IT policies wirelessly. It also gives the ability to remotely delete information on your iPAQ in the event that it is lost or stolen.

Further, the hw6900 is actually the first handheld to offer four integrated radios so if you are a globe-trotter, you don’t have to worry about not being able to easily get online. Connectivity options include GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth wireless technology.

There’s more… the hw6900 is also equipped with Skype Mobile software so users can make and receive VoIP calls.
