All you sports junkies out there can now take the game with you on the road. You no longer need to rush home down the interstate to catch highlights and scores from the night’s game, because Mobile ESPN has gone live. The official launch, appropriately, was on Super Bowl Sunday, but of course it was overshadowed by the Seattle-Pittsburgh gridiron event.
The video clips go great with the Mobile ESPN handset that you pre-ordered. Keep up with the latest in the world of the NBA, try to catch up with the ongoing competition between Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin, and see what the Yankees are doing to try to get to the World Series… all on your mobile phone. For all your fantasy sports enthusiasts, there’s even an option to get instant access to five of your favourite teams and fifteen of your favourite players.
The Mobile ESPN service is available throughout Sprint’s nationwide PCS network, but it seems like you’ll need to pick up a Sanyo MVP to get in on the action.
